Dev Update #2


Happy New Years everyone! Appreciate all the feedback - Yes, I've read all of your comments >:3

With all the free time, thanks to the holidays - I'll be pushing a new update in the first half of January.

What to expect (And more!):

  • Combat re-balance, including, but not limited to: Revive penalties and drain stacking. I heard all the feedback about the medics and endless revival spam, plus stalemate situations. The new systems will ensure that the fight is progressing, not always in your favor thought
  • Location and enemy scaling, to make locations viable for longer and cover the LVL gaps between them
  • 2 Wandering mini-bosses. As I'm spicing up the locations and wanting to make them feel more unique, I'm adding 2 new mini-bosses you could encounter with their own mechanics and... unique loot
  • Mad Scientist and Inferno Dragon buff: I think you can all agree that the Dragon was lacking, often times being the easiest of the bunch, while Slime Queen took the crown to be the hardest. As the combat re-balance already solves the annoyances of the Slime Queen - I'm adjusting the other two bosses to be on par
  • More consequences and mechanics for the ⬛ route
  • A new cheat code / reward for beating ⬛
  • Updated sprites for ⬛ and her favorite ⬛
  • More lore and a dialogue
  • In-game glossary with all the effects and statuses
