Dev Update #3

Hello lovely people :3 Let’s get you caught up with the development!
Currently, I have 2 big updates planned out for Level Bound that I work on in my free time.
First will bring a new unique zone to fill the 75-100 LVL gap, a new boss, a new mini-boss, Spark improvements, a new enemy type, new structures and more! Say hello to Empress Aequitas! I won’t spoil much, but she will play a major role in the story of your Ascension Quest:

The second one is very ambitious and is planned to bring you eternal replayability with an Endless Dream mode! Unlike just replaying the game, it’s planned to have separate roguelike progression and systems. But we’ll get to it more in detail after the first update is done.
As the game continues to grow, I decided that I’ll be creating a Discord server for you to hang-out in, provide feedback and share experiences. I’ll be making a separate post with a Discord announcement and invite a bit later.
The first update will be ready for testing by the end of March, meaning public release somewhere in April :3 And as per usual - greatly appreciate all of your feedback! I read all of it <3 You’ll see some requested features/changes pop-up 😉

Sounds cool. A little afraid, though. Miss Darkness has 5 phases already AT LEAST. I've died at phase 5 twice and have been hoping the next update would tone her down a little bit, maybe rework the fight a little, because she isn't just 'difficult', she feels unfair. Not fun. (I get that's the point, but still.)
The new character looks great and I'm happy they will fill the 75-100 gap, so you're not grinding for an eternity in an under-levelled area, but at the same time, she's just going to be added to the Miss Darkness fight, along with whatever annoying mechanic she will probably receive. A 6-phase fight (where the final two phases are abysmal) sounds really fun. :)
A few problems with the game aside, I am, overall, looking forward to the update.
Edit: Also, that one ability that gives the enemy a seemingly high chance to receive zero damage (Phase, I think?) on some of the most annoying enemies in the game can also be quite... vexing. I hope it gets reworked in the future. It's just awful to go against.
Oh, and maybe hovering over status effects telling us what they do could be a neat feature. Still have no clue what 'Last Stand' in Drain route Dragon fight does.
Do you plan on adding dificulty settings? For me honestly the game dificulty is fine but for new players may be a good idea to have this option
